A man died after receiving an electric shock from a water cooler in Layyah city. Rescuers said on Thursday,45-year-old, Zulfiqar Ali Khan, who worked at a samosa shop, switched on a water cooler connected to a solar power system when he suffered a severe electric shock and collapsed.

MUZAFFARGARH, Jul 09 (APP): A man died after receiving an electric shock from a water cooler in Layyah city.

Rescuers said on Thursday,45-year-old, Zulfiqar Ali Khan, who worked at a samosa shop, switched on a water cooler connected to a solar power system when he suffered a severe electric shock and collapsed.

The body was shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital.

The heirs declined to have an autopsy conducted. After the completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for burial.
