A series of literary and religious competitions were organised at the Punjab Council of the Arts,(PAC) Rawalpindi, as part of the Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations, providing participants an opportunity to express their devotion, knowledge and creativity.

RAWALPINDI, Aug 27 (APP): A series of literary and religious competitions were organised at the Punjab Council of the Arts, (PAC) Rawalpindi, as part of the Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations, providing participants an opportunity to express their devotion, knowledge and creativity.
The essay writing competition focused on the Seerah, teachings and message of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Tuba Sajid secured first position, Shameen Dil Awaiz second and Khansa Binte Babar third.
The Naat competition was won by Zahra Fatima, while Hassan Akbar and Rahina Islam secured second and third positions, respectively. In the Husn-e-Qirat competition, Muhammad Raza stood first, followed by Karimullah and Muhammad Nadeem.
The competitions were judged by noted scholars and experts. Additional Director General ABAD Muhammad Arif Khan Niazi attended the ceremony as chief guest and distributed cash prizes and certificates among the position holders.
Speaking on the occasion, Director PAC, Rawalpindi, Muhammad Shakoor congratulated the winners and appreciated the judges, participants and organisers for their contribution to the success of the events.
He said such activities provided young people with meaningful opportunities to develop their literary and creative abilities while strengthening their connection with the teachings and values of Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW).
