MULTAN, Sep 25 (APP): Former Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique visited the residences of bereaved families in Multan and expressed condolences over the deaths of veteran PML-N leader and workers.
He visited the residence of late Rao Anees-ur-Rehman Khan and offered condolences to his son Rao Hamad-ur-Rehman, brother Kanwar Abdul-Rehman, Rao Fazal-ur-Rehman and Rao Imran. He offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul and patience for the bereaved family.
Khawaja Saad Rafique paid tribute to the late Rao Anees-ur-Rehman Khan for his longstanding political and organisational services to the PML-N, saying that he remained committed to democratic and ideological values, party loyalty and principled politics throughout his political career. He said his steadfastness and loyalty during difficult political periods would always be remembered.
The former federal minister also visited the residences of late Islam Khan Sherwani, late former chairman Risalat Khan Sherwani and late Shahid Iqbal Khan Sherwani, where he offered Fateha and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
Former federal minister Syed Javed Ali Shah, former state minister Malik Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, former MPA Hamad Nawaz Khan Tepo, Malik Anwar Ali, Umar Farooq Bhatti, Rizwan Ali and other PML-N leaders and workers accompanied him during the visits.
