BAHAWALPUR, Jun 09 (APP): In a significant international achievement, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s (IUB) landmark Green Campus Project has been featured as a dedicated chapter in Green Metrics in Higher Education: Measuring and Reporting Sustainability Initiatives in Higher Education Institutions, a prestigious publication by Springer Nature.
The book, edited by leading international experts in sustainability and higher education, highlights successful environmental initiatives and sustainability practices implemented by universities around the world. IUB’s contribution, titled “Implementing an Environmental Management System for Sustainability at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur,” was authored by Dr. Abid Rashid Gill, Prof. Dr. Areeba Khan, and Kashif Akram.
