IUB holds rally at Khawaja Farid Campus to mark ‘Marka-e-Haq’ anniversary

BAHAWALPUR, May 06 (APP): A large rally was organised at the Khawaja Farid Campus of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as part of the ongoing celebrations marking the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq (Bunyanum Marsoos).
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran led the rally, which was attended by Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, faculty members, and nearly 3,000 students.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor described Marka-e-Haq as a defining moment in Pakistan’s history, stating that it strengthened national defence and would contribute to long-term development and prosperity. He added that the nation, in unity with its armed forces, responded effectively to external aggression, demonstrating resilience and determination. Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen remarked that the event has instilled a renewed spirit of patriotism among the youth. She noted that students are actively participating in the 15-day celebrations under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, reflecting strong national enthusiasm.
Participants in the rally raised patriotic slogans and reaffirmed their commitment to the country. Students expressed that such national achievements have enhanced Pakistan’s global image and strengthened national pride. The rally concluded with a pledge by participants to uphold unity, integrity, and dedication to the progress and stability of the homeland.
