LAHORE, Sep 07 (APP):Institute of Rural Management (IRM) hosted the “From Hope to Achievement IRM Success Stories” event, celebrating the educational journeys and achievements of students,teachers and vocational training graduates associated with its education and skills development programs.
The event was held at a local hotel,said a press release issued on Monday.
It brought together IRM SMART School students,teachers,vocational training graduates and representatives of civil society to highlight how access to education and skills development can create pathways to continued learning and better opportunities.
A key highlight of the event was the sharing of success stories by five IRM SMART School alumni three girls and two boys who reflected on their educational journeys and achievements after transitioning from SMART Schools to government secondary schools.
Their experiences highlighted the role of educational opportunities in enabling children to continue their studies and pursue their aspirations.
Students also presented a welcome tableau and a thematic performance highlighting the importance of education and its transformative role in young people’s lives.
A documentary on the IRM SMART School initiative,including its Brick Kiln Schools Program,was also screened, showcasing IRM’s efforts to expand educational opportunities for children from communities facing barriers to education.
The event also featured selected IRM SMART School teachers,who shared their professional journeys and experiences under the program,highlighting the vital role teachers play in supporting students and strengthening learning opportunities within their communities.
The program further highlighted IRM’s Vocational Training Program,with several graduates sharing their experiences and success stories following their training.
