Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Wednesday said that the transfer of the district police officer (DPO) Hafizabad was purely an administrative decision of the Punjab Police.

LAHORE, Jun 17 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Wednesday said that the transfer of the district police officer (DPO) Hafizabad was purely an administrative decision of the Punjab Police.
In a statement, the IGP said that the decision to transfer the DPO was made in view of organisational requirements and administrative considerations. He said that transfers and postings were a routine part of police administration and were carried out in accordance with institutional needs.
The IGP added that Punjab Police remained focused on impartial policing, maintaining discipline, and serving the public with professionalism and dedication.
