IGP takes notice of triple murder in Taxila, orders arrest of accused

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday took notice of the killing of three persons, including two women, over a domestic dispute within the jurisdiction of Taxila Police Station and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Rawalpindi.

LAHORE, Apr 16 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday took notice of the killing of three persons, including two women, over a domestic dispute within the jurisdiction of Taxila Police Station and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Rawalpindi.
The IGP directed the city police officer (CPO) Rawalpindi to ensure the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the incident, instructing that all available resources be utilised to apprehend those responsible.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, senior police officers and forensic teams reached the crime scene and collected evidence. The CPO Rawalpindi said that special teams had been constituted for the arrest of the accused and expressed confidence that the suspect would be apprehended soon.
