Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday took notice of the killing of a father and his son in firing in village 186-RB Dogranwala, within the jurisdiction of Chak Jhumra Police Station, and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Faisalabad.

LAHORE, Oct 08 (APP): Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday took notice of the killing of a father and his son in firing in village 186-RB Dogranwala, within the jurisdiction of Chak Jhumra Police Station, and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Faisalabad.

The IGP directed the city police officer (CPO) Faisalabad to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the firing and utilise all available resources to apprehend them.

A police spokesperson said senior police officers and forensic teams had reached the crime scene and collected evidence.

The deceased were identified as Azmatullah and his son Fahad.
