IGP issues relief orders on various cops, families requests

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday met police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office and issued immediate orders for resolution of their problems.

LAHORE, May 21 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Thursday met police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office and issued immediate orders for resolution of their problems.
During the meeting, the IGP listened to issues and complaints presented by police personnel and their families and directed the relevant officers to ensure prompt relief and necessary action.
According to spokesperson, on an application regarding legal proceedings submitted by the widow of deceased Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mukhtar Ahmad, the IGP directed the district police officer (DPO) Khushab to take appropriate action.
On the transfer request of Driver Constable Tanveer Hayat, directions were issued to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) RMP for provision of relief.
Regarding the request for restoration of service of former Constable Muhammad Raheel, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to place the matter under consideration.
Similarly, on the financial assistance request of retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafi, necessary directions were issued to the DIG Welfare and Finance.
The IGP also directed DIG Establishment-II to examine the application submitted by the widow of deceased former Constable Muhammad Afzal.
IGP Abdul Kareem further issued orders on various other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion and welfare matters.
