IGP issues relief orders on various cops, families requests

LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Monday met with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office and listened to their concerns regarding promotions, seniority, welfare and administrative matters.
According to police spokesperson, on the request of the widow of late ASI Ameer Hamza regarding the recruitment of her son, the matter was referred to the Additional IG Punjab for consideration. On the transfer request of ASI Javeed Aslam, directions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief. Similarly, necessary instructions were given to the Additional IG RMP on the transfer request of Driver Constable Tanveer Hayat.
IGP Abdul Kareem said that the welfare of the police force is his top priority and that timely resolution of issues faced by employees will be ensured.
