Hot, dry weather forecast for next 24 hours

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday predicted no rain for next 24 hours, while temperature in the city would increase significantly.

LAHORE, May 15 (APP):The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday predicted no rain for next 24 hours, while temperature in the city would increase significantly.
According to the PMD, the maximum temperature in the city was expected to be 38 degrees Celsius while the minimum 26 degrees Celsius.
The humidity ratio in the air was recorded at 30 per cent, while the wind blew at a speed of 5 kilometres per hour. The Meteorological Department predicted that heat intensity would increase further from Sunday and the temperature was likely to remain above 40 degrees Celsius throughout the next week in the province.
On the other hand, there is a slight improvement in the city’s air quality. Lahore’s average air quality index was recorded at 155, while the highest air pollution index of 166 was noted in the Bedian area of the provincial metropolis.
