RAWALPINDI, Apr 08 (APP): The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) has decorated green belts along Rawal Road with seasonal flowers to mark the arrival of spring and enhance the city’s appearance.
HAR spokesman said the initiative was undertaken on the directions of Managing Director Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, adding that a variety of colourful flowers had been planted along the main highway to create a more pleasant environment for residents.
He said the plantation not only enhanced the roadway’s visual appeal but also reflected the vibrant character of the spring season.
Similar measures were being implemented on other key roads and public spaces to promote a greener and more attractive urban landscape, he added.
Residents welcomed the move, describing the agency’s efforts as commendable and expressing hope that such initiatives would continue.
Authorities also urged the public to cooperate in maintaining the city’s cleanliness and greenery.
