SARGODHA, Jun 20 (APP): Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Saturday inspected various sites of the ongoing city beautification project to review the progress and quality of development work being carried out across Sargodha.
Accompanied by senior officials from the relevant departments, he visited City Road and examined ongoing work, including road restoration, footpath renovation, installation of streetlights and sanitation arrangements.
During the inspection, the commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure the timely completion of all projects while maintaining the prescribed quality standards.
He said the initiatives were aimed at providing citizens with a cleaner, more organized and aesthetically pleasing urban environment.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said the city beautification project was part of efforts to transform Sargodha into a modern and clean city through the improvement and maintenance of public spaces and civic infrastructure.
He warned that negligence in the execution of development work would not be tolerated and instructed departments to strengthen coordination and expedite the pace of ongoing projects.
The commissioner reiterated that public welfare and urban development remained among the Punjab government’s top priorities, adding that all available resources were being utilized for the uplift and betterment of the region.
