Gloves Factory Gutted in Massive Fire After Weekly Holiday Closure

FAISALABAD, Jul 13 (APP): A massive fire broke out at a gloves manufacturing factory in Value Addition City on Khurarianwala-Jandwali Road on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the emergency control room received information about the blaze at the K Sons Gloves Factory, following which firefighting teams rushed to the site and launched an intensive operation.

The fire was brought under control before it could spread to adjoining premises.

Officials said the factory had remained closed on Sunday due to a weekly holiday.

Employees discovered the building engulfed in flames when they arrived to resume work on Monday morning.

Initial findings suggest the fire may have been triggered by a short circuit. However, officials said the exact cause would be ascertained after a detailed investigation.

Rescue teams continued cooling operations to extinguish remaining hotspots and ensure the site was completely safe.

No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Authorities were assessing the financial losses caused by the fire,Rescue 1122 officials said.
