The body of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, identified as Shahzadi, who had gone missing after drowning in Nala Adil, was recovered on the second day of a search operation conducted by Rescue 1122 on Tuesday.
Girl’s body recovered after two-day search operation in Muzaffargarh
MUZAFFARGARH, Jun 16 (APP): The body of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, identified as Shahzadi, who had gone missing after drowning in Nala Adil, was recovered on the second day of a search operation conducted by Rescue 1122 on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122, the body was found approximately three and a half kilometres away from the point where she had drowned.
The rescue teams carried out an extensive search operation for two consecutive days, covering a total area of nearly 11 kilometres using the line search technique before successfully locating the body.
Officials said the water search and rescue operation continued for around seven hours, after which the body was shifted to the family’s home.
