GCWUS Vice Chancellor calls on Governor, discusses academic development
SIALKOT, Sep 08 (APP):Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haidar Khan at his office here on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson, matters of mutual interest, including academic development, institutional progress, higher education initiatives, and strengthening the university’s role in empowering women through quality education were discussed during the meeting.
The Vice Chancellor apprised the Governor, who is also the Chancellor of public sector universities, of the varsity’s ongoing initiatives, achievements, and future development plans. The meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on strategies to further enhance academic excellence, research, innovation, and overall institutional growth.
Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir expressed her gratitude to the Governor for his continuous guidance and support toward the advancement of higher education and women’s empowerment.
