SIALKOT, Jun 20 (APP): Officials of Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) participated in the PSG-2023: National Higher Education Leadership Engagement Series “The Quality Compact”, held at Forman Christian College University (FCCU), Lahore,a university spokesperson said on Saturday.
The GCWUS delegation comprised Prof. Dr. Tariq Mahmood, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas and Mr. Ijaz Ahmad.
The event brought together senior academic and administrative leaders, including deans, registrars and Institutional Quality Cell (IQC) representatives from higher education institutions across Punjab.
Discussions focused on the implementation of the revised PSG-2023 Quality Assurance Framework and practical strategies to strengthen quality culture in the higher education sector.
According to the spokesperson,the participants gained insights into contemporary quality assurance practices, institutional performance enhancement,academic excellence and continuous improvement mechanisms.
The session also provided practical tools and guidelines to facilitate the effective implementation of quality standards at their respective institutions.
Meanwhile,Prof.Dr.Shazia Bashir reiterated the university’s commitment to promoting excellence in teaching, research, governance and quality assurance through active participation in national academic and professional development initiatives.
