A food sector delegation from South Punjab, led by Convener of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Committee on Food Shahid Imran, departed for China on Tuesday at the invitation of 15 leading Chinese entrepreneurs to explore new export opportunities, joint ventures and business collaborations in the food industry.

LAHORE, Jun 23 (APP):A food sector delegation from South Punjab, led by Convener of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Committee on Food Shahid Imran, departed for China
on Tuesday at the invitation of 15 leading Chinese entrepreneurs to explore new export opportunities, joint ventures and business collaborations in the food industry.
Speaking before his departure, Shahid Imran said the visit was aimed at strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and China and promoting Pakistan’s vast potential in food processing, agriculture and value-added food products.
He said the delegation would hold a series of meetings with Chinese investors, importers, food manufacturers and business leaders to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral trade and investment in the food sector.
The delegation will also visit food processing units, industrial zones and trade centres to gain insights into modern technologies, innovative production methods and international best practices in the food industry.
