Four injured as vehicle falls into nullah, man killed in Train Accident

Four people were injured when a vehicle plunged into a nullah near Pirwadhai Mor, while a man lost his life in a separate train accident at Rawalpindi Railway Station on Monday, according to Rescue 1122.

RAWALPINDI, Jun 02 (APP):Four people were injured when a vehicle plunged into a nullah near Pirwadhai Mor, while a man lost his life in a separate train accident at Rawalpindi Railway Station on Monday, according to Rescue 1122.
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said a Suzuki Cultus carrying four passengers went out of control due to overspeeding and fell into a nullah in front of Turbo CNG on IJP Road near Pirwadhai Mor.
Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 dispatched four vehicles to the scene, including a motorcycle rescue service unit, two ambulances and a rescue vehicle.
Rescue personnel successfully extricated the occupants from the vehicle, administered first aid and shifted them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The injured included two men and two women, all of whom were reported to be in stable condition and out of danger.
In a separate incident, a man was killed in a train accident at Platform No. 3 of Rawalpindi Railway Station. Rescue 1122 teams, accompanied by an ambulance and a motorized rescue service unit, rushed to the scene. However, the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
Following the completion of necessary formalities, rescue officials handed over the body to the relevant authorities. Further investigations into both incidents are underway.
