LAHORE, Sep 13 (APP):Police arrested four suspects, including a police constable, for allegedly supplying illegal kite-flying equipment in the city despite an official ban.
According to police here on Sunday, Constable Talha, accompanied by three accomplices, had gone to the Harbanspura area to supply kite-flying gear when law enforcement personnel intercepted them.
Taking swift action, a Lady Sub-Inspector arrested Constable Talha along with his three accomplices on the spot.
Police recovered 600 kites and 40 spools of metallic/chemical kite string from the possession of the arrested suspects.
Police further revealed that Constable Talha was currently deployed on security duty at the Governor House.
A case was registered against all four arrested suspects at the Women’s Police Station, Race Course, and further investigation was underway.
