Foolproof arrangements for MDCAT exam ordered following UHS rescheduling

Municipal and administrative authorities have been directed to finalize foolproof arrangements to ensure the transparent and peaceful execution of the rescheduled Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT)-2026, for the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

RAWALPINDI, Sep 14 (APP):Municipal and administrative authorities have been directed to finalize foolproof arrangements to ensure the transparent and peaceful execution of the rescheduled Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT)-2026, for the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.
The directives were given by the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, Nadeem Nasir while chairing a meeting on Monday.
According to a notification issued by Vice Chancellor UHS, the MDCAT examination originally scheduled for August 16 was rescheduled to be held on Sunday, September 20, in accordance with the PM&DC decision.
Chairing a planning session attended by officials from the Police, Traffic Police, Rescue 1122, NADRA and other relevant departments, the deputy commissioner confirmed that 6,240 candidates will appear in the exam across Rawalpindi district.
Officials briefed the session that three examination centers have been established for the exam, including Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), Government Post Graduate College and Siddique Public School.
The deputy commissioner instructed security agencies to ensure total security for all operational activities of the exam, and directed municipal departments to provide uninterrupted power supply, medical response teams, waiting areas for parents and dedicated parking management.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Social Services Fazail Mudassar has been designated as the focal person to oversee inter-departmental coordination across all three venues.
