RAWALPINDI, Jul 29 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir directed authorities on Wednesday to ensure foolproof security, transparency and administrative arrangements for the upcoming Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT-2026), scheduled to take place on August 16.
Chairing a high-level review meeting Depury Commissioner Nadeem Nasir said that 6,240 candidates will appear for the exam across three designated centers in Rawalpindi including Arid Agriculture University, Government Post Graduate College, and Siddique Public School.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Maleeha Sahar has been designated as the focal person to oversee inter-departmental coordination.
DC Nadeem Nasir instructed police, traffic authorities, Rescue 1122, and the education department to deploy tight security for question papers, establish waiting areas for parents, arrange uninterrupted power supply and formulate smooth traffic management plans.
