Five held with narcotics,weapons

SARGODHA, May 12 (APP):The district police arrested five accused,recovered narcotics and weapons from them on Tuesday.

Police said here that the Tarkhanawala police conducted raids and arrested Asif, Aoun and Zawar Hussain, besides recovering 100 liters of liquor, a 12-bore gun, and a 30-bore pistol from them.

Meanwhile, Bhalwal city police arrested two drug peddlers identified as Imran and Numan and recovered 1.24 kg hashish from them.

Separate cases were registered against the accused and investigation was underway.
