FIA seizes large consignment of fake branded products
LAHORE, Nov 05 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two suspects and seized a large quantity of counterfeit branded products during operations in Lahore.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the agency’s Corporate Crime Circle conducted a raid in Shah Alam Market, Lahore, and busted a factory involved in manufacturing counterfeit products.
The arrested suspects, identified as Nabeel Ayub and Zeeshan, were allegedly manufacturing and selling fake products bearing the brand name of a well-known registered company without its authorisation.
The FIA seized a large quantity of counterfeit products during the operation. The suspects were also found involved in violations of the Copyright Act, the spokesperson added.
Further investigation is underway.
