The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a man allegedly involved in human trafficking and visa fraud, officials said on Friday.

FAISALABAD, Jun 19 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a man allegedly involved in human trafficking and visa fraud, officials said on Friday.

According to FIA sources,the Composite Circle Faisalabad apprehended Ghulam Mohyuddin, r/o Samundri for allegedly defrauding a citizen on the pretext of sending him abroad.

The suspect along with an accomplice identified as Bilal,was accused of receiving Rs.8.1 million from the complainant in exchange for arranging overseas employment but failed to honour the commitment.

The FIA launched action after receiving a complaint and arrested the accused during a raid.

Further investigation was underway while legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect, officials added.
