Superintending Engineer (SE) FESCO Sargodha Circle Abrar Ahmed Khan has said that special control rooms have been established in all 32 sub-divisions of FESCO Sargodha Division for uninterrupted supply of electricity, emergency repairs and immediate redressal of consumer complaints during Muharram, while duty rosters have also been implemented.
Fesco pledges uninterrupted power supply during Muharram

SARGODHA, Jun 17 (APP): Superintending Engineer (SE) FESCO Sargodha Circle Abrar Ahmed Khan has said that special control rooms have been established in all 32 sub-divisions of FESCO Sargodha Division for uninterrupted supply of electricity, emergency repairs and immediate redressal of consumer complaints during Muharram, while duty rosters have also been implemented.
He expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting held regarding the arrangements for Muharram.
The meeting was attended by various XENs, SDOs and other concerned officers and officials. Abrar Ahmed Khan said that more than 300 officers and employees will be deployed to ensure continuous supply of electricity at the places of processions and gatherings during Muharram-ul-Haram, while focal persons have also been appointed at the circle and district levels.
He said that T&P transformers, steel rods, wires, emergency trolleys and other necessary equipment and supplies have been made available in sufficient quantity to deal with any emergency situation so that in case of any possible disruption in power supply, the system can be restored in the shortest possible time by taking immediate action. SE FESCO said that XEN, Haroon Ahmed Gujjar has been appointed as the district focal person for Sargodha district, especially the city, while Mudassar Khan has been appointed as the circle focal person. Moreover, more than a hundred officers and employees have been assigned special duties to deal with emergencies.
The meeting was attended by Axion Maroof Butt, Babar Riaz Ghuman, Ayoun Kirmani, Nizam Shah, while SDOs Zahid Shah, Muhammad Ali, Shahzad Ahmed, Muhammad Ilyas and other officers and officials. Abrar Ahmed Khan said that in case of any emergency or electricity-related complaint during Muharram, consumers can contact FESCO helpline 118. In addition, the contact numbers of the concerned SDOs are also listed on the electricity bills through which immediate help can be obtained. He said that FESCO is utilizing all available resources to ensure uninterrupted and safe electricity supply to the public during Muharram.
