FESCO approves marriage grants for 16 employees

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has approved marriage grants of Rs100,000 each for 16 employees to support the marriage expenses of their children.

FAISALABAD, Jul 01 (APP): The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has approved marriage grants of Rs100,000 each for 16 employees to support the marriage expenses of their children.
FESCO Spokesman Saeed Raza said here on Wednesday that FESCO is undertaking employees’ welfare initiative on the special directives of Chief Executive Officer FESCO Engineer Muhammad Aamir, who has instructed the management to continue extending meaningful financial assistance and other welfare benefits to employees as part of long-term employee welfare policy of the company.
He said that formal orders had been issued for the release of Rs100,000 to each of the 16 employees to help meet marriage-related expenses of their children.
He said that the initiative reflects the management’s recognition of the valuable services rendered by employees and its resolve to support them during important family occasions.
He emphasized that employee welfare measures were not a one-time exercise but an integral part of FESCO’s continuing policy for improving the quality of life of employees and their families.
He said that FESCO management would continue introducing additional welfare initiatives to facilitate employees and strengthen their financial and social well-being.
The employees approved for the marriage grant included Sajjad Khan (Lineman-II), Muhammad Younus (Security Guard), Anwar Hussain (Security Guard), Muhammad Shabbir (Meter Reader), Muhammad Zahid (Assistant Lineman), Muhammad Nawaz (Lorry Driver), Muhammad Ismail Khan (Lorry Driver), Amjad Ali (Lorry Cleaner), Nisar Ahmad Tahir (Meter Reader), Habib Ahmad (Meter Supervisor-II), Khalid Zulfiqar (Naib Qasid) and Javed Afzal (Lorry Driver), among others, he added.
On other hand, the FESCO employees welcomed the initiative of Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Aamir and appreciated the management’s employee-friendly approach.
They expressed the hope that such welfare programs would continue in the future, further strengthening the bond between the organization and its workforce while enhancing employees’ confidence and morale.
