FAISALABAD,June 08 (APP):The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) on Monday organized a farewell ceremony in honor of two retiring employees,acknowledging their long and dedicated service to the institution.
The event was held for Office Assistant Zulfiqar Ali Anjum and Naib Qasid (Admin Branch) Muhammad Arshad and was arranged by the Inqalabi Workers Union FDA.
The ceremony was attended by FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhary Zafar Iqbal Nagra as chief guests.
Senior officials,including Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj,union office-bearers and a large number of employees also attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion,FDA Director General(DG),Muhammad Asif Chaudhary lauded the services of the retiring employees, terming government servants a “valuable asset” to any institution.
He said that honesty,dedication and hard work remain key pillars of effective governance and improved public service delivery.
He said the retiring employees had performed their duties with sincerity and commitment,adding that their services would be remembered as part of the authority’s institutional legacy.
He also extended best wishes for their health and future endeavors.
MPA Chaudhary Zafar Iqbal Nagra said retirement marks the beginning of a new phase of life, paying tribute to the retiring employees for their contribution to institutional stability and public service.
In his remarks, Inqalabi Workers Union President Sadaqat Baloch said the dedication and professionalism shown by the retiring employees should serve as an example for younger staff.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, commemorative shields, gifts and bouquets were presented to the retiring employees amid applause from participants. The retirees expressed gratitude to the FDA management and union representatives, terming the farewell a memorable honour.
