FDA directed to redress public complaints without delay

FAISALABAD, Aug 08 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary directed the FDA officers to ensure redressal of public complaints without delay.
He met citizens under open door policy of Punjab government and listened directly to their problems and complaints.
He reviewed the issues raised by the citizens and directed the officers concerned that there should be no unnecessary delay in addressing public complaints.
He said that every application should be disposed of strictly on merit in accordance with the rules and regulations within the stipulated timeframe.
He said that the provision of transparent, timely and quality services to citizens was foremost priority of the FDA.
Muhammad Asif Chaudhary ordered the further acceleration of ongoing operation against illegal housing schemes, stating that effective action was essential to protect citizens from fraud and financial losses through illegal housing schemes.
He directed the concerned officers to ensure legal action against the promotion and advertisement of illegal schemes, unauthorized development activities and the sale and purchase of illegal plots.
He also directed that vigorous action should be taken to remove temporary and permanent encroachments established on government land and public passages and against the land-grabbing mafia.
FDA Director General instructed the concerned officials to expedite departmental processing of inheritance mutations related to properties, saying that citizens should not have to face unnecessary official procedures or delays in resolving ownership-related matters.
He directed the relevant departments to review pending applications on a priority basis and complete proceedings in accordance with the law.
