FDA City’s security system to be aligned with modern lines: DG

FAISALABAD, Sep 30 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that a comprehensive plan has been devised to align the security system of FDA City with modern lines.

Under this plan, a new gate equipped with advanced security features will be constructed at the entrance, and measures such as the installation of electric barriers and the issuance of special security stickers to residents of The FDA City will be implemented to ensure effective security arrangements. He stated this while reviewing ongoing and proposed development activities in FDA City during a meeting held here on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by FDA Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rand, Chief Engineer Mehar Ayub, Project Director and Director of Estate Management-II Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Director IT Yasir Ejaz Chattha, and other relevant officials.

The FDA DG noted that issuing security stickers to residents would facilitate the identification and monitoring of both resident and non-resident vehicles. He said that special attention is being paid to improving the development infrastructure to make the environment of FDA City more pleasant, and convenient for its residents.

In this regard, projects for the repair and rehabilitation of roads, the renovation and development of parks, and the improvement of street lighting systems will be improved to provide better civic amenities to the residents.

The DG of the FDA directed the Chief Engineer to expedite the construction of the new entrance gate and security room, and to take the necessary measures to ensure that all development projects are being completed in accordance with effective planning and laid out standards.
