The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore on Tuesday arrested an official of the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) for allegedly taking a bribe.

LAHORE, Apr 07 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore on Tuesday arrested an official of the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) for allegedly taking a bribe.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the accused, identified as Sher Ahmed Khan, was serving as an Executive Officer at the EOBI office in Garden Town, Lahore. He was apprehended red-handed while receiving a bribe of Rs 100,000 from a complainant for processing a legitimate official matter.
The spokesperson said a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation have been initiated.
