SARGODHA, Sep 08 (APP):The Environment Protection Department on Tuesday demolished five brick kilns in Sillanwali tehsil for violating prescribed environmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding zigzag technology.
According to a spokesperson, The anti-smog operation was conducted on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry and supervised by Deputy Director Environment Muhammad Rana.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Muhammad Rana said strict enforcement of environmental laws was being ensured across the district to curb air pollution and provide citizens with a clean, healthy environment. He emphasized that indiscriminate action against non-compliant units would continue without relaxation.
