RAWALPINDI, Apr 21 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi is strictly implementing a zero-tolerance policy to ensure transparent and merit-based examinations.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan visited the examination centres at Government Girls High School, Hazara Road, Government Associate College for Women, Hasan Abdal and Government Associate College for Boys, Hasan Abdal. He also inspected marking centres at Government Graduate College for Women, Attock and Government Pilot Higher Secondary School.
During the visits, he reviewed examination arrangements, security measures and facilities provided to candidates. At the marking centres, he checked the standard of paper assessment and directed that merit and transparency must be strictly upheld.
He said effective and comprehensive measures had been taken to curb cheating, adding that strict action would continue against any malpractice.
Officials reiterated that full implementation of the zero-tolerance policy would be ensured to maintain a fair and credible examination system.
