SIALKOT, Aug 27 (APP): In an effort to promote inclusive democratic participation, Baidarie Sialkot, in collaboration with the District Election Commission of Pakistan, organised a dedicated voter awareness session for physically disabled voters.
The event was held at the Social Welfare Complex in Sialkot.
The session aimed to educate and encourage persons with physical limitations to exercise their fundamental democratic right to vote during the upcoming elections.
Syed Ghulam Mohiuddin, District Election Commissioner Sialkot, Muhammad Sharif Ghumman Deputy Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Sialkot, Sajid Iqbal Khan Advocate Programme Manager, Nazima Assad Sr. Social organizer and others provided information to the participants on the need and importance of exercising right to vote during the elections.
