Police on Friday arrested a suspected drug peddler and recovered 2.2 kilograms of hashish from his possession within the limits of Muradpur Police Station.

SIALKOT, Jun 19 (APP):Police on Friday arrested a suspected drug peddler and recovered 2.2 kilograms of hashish from his possession within the limits of Muradpur Police Station.

According to police,a team intercepted a suspect identified as Mubashir near Muradpur during routine patrolling.

During a search,police recovered 2.2kg of hashish from his possession,officials said.

The suspect was taken into custody and shifted to the police station for investigation.

A case has been registered while further legal proceedings were underway.
