Dolphin force held 160 POs, 102 court absconders during current year

FAISALABAD, Jul 02 (APP): The dolphin force arrested 160 proclaimed offenders and 102 court absconders in the district during the current year.

According to a police spokesperson here on Thursday, the force held 372 record holder criminals and recovered illegal weapons from their possession.

During the crackdown on drug traffickers, the force held 793 accused and seized hashish, heroin, ice and wine from their possession. At least 143 other accused involved in fireworks, kite flying, and one-wheeling were also nabbed.

Similarly, the dolphin force arrested 110 dacoits and recovered looted property from their custody.

The force during snap checking, checked over 1.9 million people, 1.7 million motorcycles and 431,107 vehicles.

Meanwhile, under community policing, 1522 citizens were provided first aid and assistance.
