Director Operations North visits PFA Rawalpindi Office, vows zero tolerance against food adulteration
RAWALPINDI, Aug 24 (APP):Newly appointed Director Operations North, Ejaz Ahmed here on Monday visited the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Rawalpindi office and reviewed the functioning of various operational wings.
During his visit, he inspected the Operations, Public Relations, Licensing and Training wings as well as the medical screening laboratory. Officials briefed him about the functions, performance and ongoing initiatives of their respective wings.
Ejaz Ahmed expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and appreciated the staff for their dedication. He directed them to maintain high operational standards and ensure effective measures for the protection of public health.
Speaking on the occasion, he warned elements involved in food adulteration that no leniency would be shown to those endangering public health. He reiterated the PFA’s commitment to eliminating the food adulteration mafia from the province.
