RAWALPINDI, Apr 01 (APP):Minister of State for National Health Services Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Bharath said Pakistan’s” Integrated OneImpact ” platform would strengthen community engagement, improve access to health services and enhance accountability in the healthcare system.
He emphasized that the platform should be implemented nationwide and registration of every tuberculosis (TB) patient ensured to facilitate access to information and services.
The minister, along with Stop TB Partnership Technical Lead James Millar, launched the platform on the Dopasi Foundation community system.
The initiative aims to enhance digital community engagement and monitoring in TB, HIV, malaria and immunisation programmes.
Officials said that Pakistan had expanded the platform beyond TB, making it the world’s first integrated community-led digital monitoring system.
Participants highlighted that the platform would enable access to verified health information, support systems and nearby facilities, while helping identify barriers to treatment.
They stressed that stronger community participation and better data use were vital to improving access, trust and continuity of care.
