RAWALPINDI, Jun 04 (APP):The District Cricket Association (DCA), Rawalpindi has announced that players will be allowed to change their clubs during the month of June in accordance with the Model Club Constitution 2015.
According to an official notification, players seeking transfer will have to obtain a form from the DCA secretary, duly signed by the presidents of both their current and prospective clubs.
It said that players would be eligible to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) after depositing the prescribed transfer fee.
The notification clarified that the facility of club transfer would be available only during June and no player would be allowed to register with more than one club.
Clubs have also been directed not to register any player with dual club memberships, while the complete transfer procedure has been outlined in Clause 10.2.2 of the constitution.
Moreover, clubs intending to register new players can obtain registration forms from the DCA secretary and submit them after depositing the required fee.
According to an official, the DCA Executive Committee, in its meeting held on June 2, approved the club transfer fee at Rs. 1,000.0 and new player registration fee at Rs. 500.0
All clubs and players have been urged to complete the process at the earliest to facilitate the holding of the DCA club tournament in the first week of July.
