FAISALABAD, Mar 13 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Cap. (retd) Nadeem Nasir has said that all development projects should be completed before the coming monsoon season.

Chairing a meeting held to review the beautification plan of the city here on Friday, he said that special attention should be paid to manholes and drainage systems, adding that open manholes and drains should be properly covered before Eid.

He issued instructions to complete the development schemes of the Municipal Committee, Jaranwala as per the stipulated timeline.

In the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the pace of beautification and development works underway in clock tower (Ghanta Ghar) and adjacent markets, ongoing WASA projects and drainage and sewerage works in the city.

The DC was also informed about the progress of beautification works underway in Kutchery Bazaar.
