DC orders deptts to remain alert in rain

LAHORE, Mar 15 (APP): The district administration was alerted after the rain in the provincial capital Lahore.
Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Ali Ijaz issued instructions to WASA and administrative officers to immediately mobilize in the field.
WASA official sources said the staff, including machinery, are fully active for drainage across the city, while immediate drainage of rainwater is being ensured from low-lying areas.
According to the district administration, timely drainage of water is also underway from the city’s main roads.
