HYDERABAD, Sep 01 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Samad Nizamani, chaired an important meeting regarding various ongoing development projects and schemes in District Shaheed Benazirabad.
The meeting was held at Darbar Hall on Tuesday.
Meeting reviewed in detail the progress of various ongoing development projects in the district, quality of work, completion status and issues being faced during implementation.
Officers of concerned departments gave detailed briefings on the development schemes being executed under their respective departments and apprised the meeting of current progress of the projects. The meeting was informed that development works are underway in various sectors of the district, particularly roads, irrigation, Public Health Engineering, buildings, education, health, local government and other sectors.
The concerned officers presented details regarding progress of the projects, completed works and schemes currently under execution. On the occasion, the DC directed concerned officers to further accelerate the pace of work on all development projects and take effective measures to ensure their completion within the stipulated time.
He also directed officers to pay special attention to quality of work and ensure the quality of materials being used in development projects. He said that development projects are of great importance for providing public facilities and promoting overall development of the district and for that reason, the concerned officers should regularly monitor the projects and immediately inform district administration of any obstacles so that issues can be resolved in a timely manner.
District Health Officer Dr. Mudassar Hussain, Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Muzaffar Hussain Zardari, Executive Engineer Dad Division Bilawal Hussain, PPP District President Muhammad Salim Zardari, In-charge Zardari House Mir Muhammad Sial, Executive Engineer Education Ahmed Khan Abro, besides officers of various other departments, attended the meeting.
