CUI Sahiwal Campus Achieves Major Academic Milestone with NAEAC Accreditation for Biosciences Programs

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Sahiwal Campus has officially secured prestigious academic accreditation from the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, for its flagship BS Food Science & Nutrition (BS FSN) and BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (BS HND) programs.

SAHIWAL, Jul 02 (APP): COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Sahiwal Campus has officially secured prestigious academic accreditation from the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, for its flagship BS Food Science & Nutrition (BS FSN) and BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (BS HND) programs.
The significant milestone, which cements the institution’s standing in specialized healthcare and agricultural education, was celebrated on Thursday with a special cake-cutting ceremony attended by the campus director, department heads, faculty, and administrative staff.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of CUI Sahiwal Campus, Dr Shahid Soroya, congratulated the Department of Biosciences, stating that the official recognition reflects the university’s steadfast commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and continuous institutional improvement.
He added that the accreditation will vastly enhance career and research opportunities for both current students and graduates.
The Head of the Biosciences Department noted that the council’s approval is the culmination of a collaborative journey spanning more than a decade.
He credited the milestone to the teamwork and perseverance of the faculty, alumni, and students, whilst extending gratitude to the university administration and Dr Soroya for their unwavering support throughout the rigorous evaluation process.
The event concluded with Cake cutting and a group photograph, symbolizing the university’s ongoing mission to produce highly competent professionals capable of driving national development in the fields of nutrition and biosciences.
