RAWALPINDI, Jun 28 (APP): Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam has commended traffic police personnel for their outstanding performance and effective traffic management during Muharram-ul-Haram processions, announcing commendation certificates for officers and traffic wardens.
In a statement, the CTO said that the best traffic arrangements were ensured during Ashura and other key processions and gatherings across the city.
He noted that more than 1,100 traffic officers and personnel performed duty day and night without distinction to facilitate mourners and citizens.
He added that due to effective planning and execution, no major traffic disruption was reported across the district during Muharram.
He also expressed gratitude to pilgrims, mourners, and citizens for their cooperation, which helped make the traffic plan a success.
CTO Farhan Aslam further said that Rawalpindi Traffic Police will continue to provide efficient traffic management and better facilitation to the public in the future.
