CTO hails traffic wardens for outstanding performance during Eid, Match duties

RAWALPINDI, May 31 (APP): Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam, praised traffic wardens for their exemplary performance during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays and the Pak-Australia cricket match, announcing appreciation certificates for officers and personnel who ensured smooth traffic flow and public convenience throughout the district.
More than 900 traffic police officers and wardens performed round-the-clock duties during the holiday period and the international cricket fixture, according to a press release issued by City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi.
The CTO said that effective planning, coordinated efforts, and a comprehensive traffic management strategy helped maintain uninterrupted traffic flow and prevented any untoward incidents during the high-profile events.
Farhan Aslam also acknowledged the cooperation of citizens, stating that public support played a vital role in the successful implementation of the traffic plan across the district.
He thanked both the traffic personnel and the public for their contributions and reaffirmed the commitment of Rawalpindi Traffic Police to continue providing efficient traffic management services and facilitating commuters in the future.
