CPO visits traffic headquarters, directs measures to ensure smooth flow

City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera visited Traffic Headquarters on Tuesday and held a meeting with senior traffic police officers, directing them to take effective measures for maintaining smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow across the city.

RAWALPINDI, Jul 14 (APP): City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera visited Traffic Headquarters on Tuesday and held a meeting with senior traffic police officers, directing them to take effective measures for maintaining smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow across the city.
SSP Operations, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO), SP Security, DSPs Traffic, and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam briefed the CPO about the functioning of various branches, desks, facilities, and overall performance of Traffic Headquarters.
During his visit, CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera inspected the licensing hall, driving school, media wing, and FM channel, and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers.
The CPO said ensuring uninterrupted traffic movement throughout the city is a key responsibility of the police. He directed officers to take all possible steps to facilitate citizens and provide safer roads.
He instructed that maximum available force should remain deployed in the field during peak hours to ensure public convenience and smooth traffic management.
The CPO further emphasized strict enforcement of traffic laws, including compliance with helmet and seat belt regulations.
He also directed officials to enhance traffic awareness campaigns to educate road users about traffic rules and available facilities.
