RAWALPINDI, Aug 09 (APP): City Police Officer CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera reviewed the security arrangements for a Chehlum procession of martyrs of Karbala in the areas of Race Course and R.A. Bazaar police stations.
SSP Operations, Chief Traffic Officer, SP Potohar and other officers were also present.
Effective security arrangements were made for the procession.
The CPO visited the procession route, reviewed the security arrangements at each point and issued necessary instructions.
He directed that entry at the procession’s entry points be allowed only after screening through walk-through gates and complete body searches.
“All available resources are being utilized to ensure foolproof security,” the CPO said.
He further said that strict implementation of the SOPs issued by the Government of Punjab was being ensured under all circumstances.
