CPO holds open courts to address public complaints
RAWALPINDI, Sep 22 (APP):City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera held open courts at Police Stations Saddar Barooni, Civil Lines, Women, and Chaklala to address citizens’ complaints and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned officers.
Police spokesperson said, the CPO directed police officials to ensure the timely resolution of citizens’ complaints, stressing that addressing the problems of people visiting police stations must remain a top priority.
During his visits, CPO Sukhera also inspected police station records and lock-ups and issued necessary instructions to the officers regarding administrative and operational matters.
He further visited the Tahafuz Centre, where he reviewed arrangements for the protection and provision of facilities to transgender persons.
The CPO said that all possible measures were being taken to ensure their safety, dignity, and access to necessary services.
The CPO had directed officers to respond promptly and effectively to public grievances and ensure that citizens receive appropriate assistance at police stations.
