FAISALABAD, Sep 04 (APP):City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain on Friday directed traffic police officers to take effective measures for better traffic management on roads and ensure improved travelling facilities for citizens.
He was chairing a meeting of traffic police officers at the Community Engagement Center here. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rana Nasir Javed and other officers attended the meeting.
The CPO directed the officers to create awareness among citizens about traffic rules and regulations to help prevent road accidents.
He further called for ensuring effective traffic discipline to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
Later,certificates and prizes were distributed among officers in recognition of their excellent performance in the discharge of their duties.
